On May 28, 2020, President Rodrigo Duterte announced that Metro Manila will shift out of MECQ (Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine) but stay under GCQ (General Community Quarantine) starting June 1.
As such, consistent with the Bayanihan To Heal As One Act, HPPEMC will be granting another 30-day grace period for loan payments falling due on the June 2020 payroll run.
Again, similar to the April and May 30-day grace periods mentioned in our April 8 and April 25 newsletters, this is optional and does not preclude those wanting to pay their obligations for June 2020.
To those wanting to avail of this third 30-day grace period, please click HERE to read the amended policy and how to avail. Please note that consistent with BSP and CDA guidelines, loan interest will continue to accrue during the 30-day grace period. Kindly make sure to read the amended policy for an illustration of interest computation.
To allow us to promptly process your request, please let us know on or before June 4, 2020 if you are availing of the third 30-day grace period. Thank you.
