The International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), through its President, Mr. Ariel Guarco, has sent a message to HPPEMC on the celebration of its 6th Annual General Assembly. The ICA, founded in 1895, is one of the oldest and largest NGOs representing cooperatives worldwide. President Guarco has congratulated HPPEMC for the "great growth" in the "short but rich trajectory" that it is travelling as a cooperative organization.

The HPP Employees Multipurpose Cooperative signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Limketkai Manufacturing Corporation (LMC), the Philippines' leading quality edible oil provider under the Marca Leon, Frito Plus, and Mazola brands. LMC is the only edible oil company in the country that produces quality corn oil all on its own. LMC harvests raw materials from its own farms, use an advanced winterization process, and bottle the finished product with its own packaging materials, keeping it at its freshest and purest, without any unnecessary and unhealthy chemicals. 

Under the agreement, LMC tapped HPPEMC to distribute its products to cooperatives and members nationwide. In the photo are LMC Asst. "We are excited about this partnership as we try to bring quality and healthy products to our members at affordable prices. The idea is to limit the number of middlemen that normally bring prices up.", Hilario said.

Notice is hereby given to the General Assembly that the 2020 HPP Employees Multipurpose Cooperative Election of Officers will be conducted and that those who wish to run for any of the elective positions are encouraged to submit their Certificate of Candidacy no later than midnight of Wednesday, March 4, 2020.

• Audit Committee (3 positions)
• Election Committee (3 positions)

In the aftermath of the first reported coronavirus case in the country, face masks have suddenly become overpriced if not out of stock. To help members protect themselves, the HPP Board has decided to give away free face masks to all members. But as supplies everywhere are limited, only one (1) face mask can initially be allocated per member. More face masks will be distributed as they become available
